Conceived as a beautified version of a Pacific Northwest crab trap, this ottoman/stool is not only an intricate piece of crafting handiwork, but also a comfortable place to rest. A perfect hybrid of design and functionality, made entirely by hand knot-by-knot just as fishermen have mended nets for centuries. The rope top nods to a more modern hippie macrame aesthetic. Following a consistent color palette and pattern makes the pieces reproducible, but some variations in upholstery occur due to the handmade nature of the knot work.
